Terms and conditions

These are the terms and conditions which apply to Flour Will Fly classes & workshops and forms an agreement between you and us. By booking a Flour Will Fly event you accept these terms and conditions. You should read them carefully before making a booking.

What’s included:

Ingredients, utensils, equipment, aprons, and carrier bags are provided for all courses. Some meals are included in the course cost – please see appropriate course details for further information. We reserve the right to make amendments to course content and recipes without notice.

Age requirements:

Minors under 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult. If, at any point, a tutor deems a child disruptive, both the adult and child may be asked to leave.

Health & Safety:

Participants are advised to wear flat, non-slip-soled shoes. We recommend practical clothing and are not responsible for any damage incurred. Attendees with recent food-related illnesses or open wounds are advised not to attend — regrettably, no refunds or rebooking options are available in such instances.

All open wounds must be covered, ideally with a blue plaster. If you don’t have a blue plaster, let us know on arrival and we will be happy to provide one.

Lateness:

Please arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start of your class — this time is essential for handwashing and settling into your assigned workstation.

Late arrivals may not be accommodated, and, regrettably, no refunds or rebooking options are available due to the nature of our business. Your punctuality ensures a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone. This clause applies even if you informed us of your delay via text, emails or direct messages on social media.

Special dietary requirements & food allergies:

Please inform us in advance of any allergies, disabilities, pregnancy, learning difficulties, etc. We will be happy to discuss course content beforehand and make adjustments whenever possible.

All payments must be made in full at the time of booking. We do not take provisional bookings and cannot confirm your place on a course until we receive full payment.

Please treat your voucher as cash. The recipient will require the voucher code for redemption.

Our gift vouchers hold a validity period of 13 months and are non-refundable. Recipients cannot exchange the value of the gift voucher for cash. Gift vouchers are transferable.

    • You have the option to request a change of course date up to 15 days before the scheduled session, subject to availability. Alternatively, you may choose to receive a refund. However, please be aware that for bookings made after 02/01/2024, both options will incur an administration charge of £15 per ticket. It's essential to note that any change of date or course renders your reservation non-refundable.

  • Changes & Cancellations Within 14 Days:

    • No changes or refunds are allowed within 14 days of the course. Cancellations during this period will result in the forfeiture of course fees.

Exceptions:

  • Death of a family member: In the unfortunate event of the death of an immediate family member who is not booked to attend with you, you may claim a full refund and administrative fees will be waived, provided the death occurs within 28 days of your booked class. To process this, you must make your claim or notify us of your intention to cancel before your event and submit a copy of the death certificate to our team. Please note that a valid death certificate is essential to prevent fraud. For the purpose of this clause, an immediate family member includes:

    • Your husband, wife, or civil partner

    • A child or stepchild

    • A parent or step-parent

    • A brother, sister, stepbrother, or stepsister

    • A grandparent or grandchild

    • Your mother/father-in-law, sister/brother-in-law, or daughter/son-in-law.

  • Death of booked guest: If someone on your booking passes away within 28 days of your event we will refund you the total amount for everyone travelling on your booking and waive the administration fee. You must supply valid death certificate prior the class in the booking. Please note that a valid death certificate is essential to prevent fraud.

  • Serious illness of a booked guest: In the unfortunate event of a serious illness affecting a member of your booked party, where the diagnosis occurs within 6 weeks of the scheduled class and the condition poses a high risk of mortality, we will issue a credit for the total amount paid for everyone in your booking. It's important to note that this exception does not apply to temporary conditions like food poisoning, migraines, and flu. Valid evidence of the serious illness must be provided before the scheduled class date, and it is crucial for the prevention of fraudulent claims.

Refunds:

Due to the nature of our classes, refunds are not available for no-shows, late-arrivals or cancellations. Please make sure you will definitely be able to travel to the class before you book.

Refunds are issued to the initial payment source. We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.

Gift vouchers are non-refundable to buyers and cannot be exchanged for cash equivalent.
